Play-In: July 5th – 6th, 2022

Play-in, the starting phase of the tournament, starts on July 5, 2022. We will watch the competition of 16 teams to join the eight teams that have qualified before. We also think that there will be very competitive matches.

Here is the play-in format;

  • Firstly, all matches will be played with the double-elimination bracket system.
  • The opening matches will be played as bo1, while all other matches will be held as bo3.
  • In addition, the first eight successful teams will be able to qualify for the group stage directly.

Group Stage: July 7th – 10th, 2022

The group stage will undoubtedly be the most enjoyable part of IEM Cologne 2022. The world’s best CSGO teams face off again. It can be fun to bet on your favourite teams, especially since the excitement will be high at this point.

  • Firstly, 16 teams will be divided into groups A and B. In other words, we will witness two different group stages.

The runners-up will continue to fight in the quarterfinals as high seeds. Lastly, the 3rd place teams as low seeds have to face their rivals in the quarterfinals.

Final Words

Competition continues unabated in the CSGO esports scene. Navi’s rise again with the BLAST Premier Spring finals caught everyone’s attention. Additionally, the last major champion FaZe Clan has also seen severe decreases in performance.

Also, we think that NaVi and ENCE will mark this tournament. We can especially recommend those who want to bet on CSGO take a look at the performance of these two teams. We hope that everyone will experience a good and enjoyable tournament process. That’s all for now, see you in our next blog post, bye.
